Choose your certification

After signup, you land on the certification picker. Pick one cert — the one you're actively preparing for. You can add more later.

What you see

The screen has three parts: a search box, a row of category tabs, and a scrollable list of certifications.

Search

Type to filter the list. I match against:

• Certification name (e.g. "Solutions Architect")
• Provider (e.g. "AWS", "Cisco", "PMI")
• Code (e.g. "SAA-C03", "CKAD")

Category tabs

Quick filters for the most common families:

• All — every cert in the catalog
• Cloud — AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• Security — CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker
• PM — PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master
• ISO — ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001
• Language — IELTS, TOEFL, DELE
• Finance — financial certifications

The catalog also includes Cisco networking, ITIL, Six Sigma, SHRM, and more — use search to find them.

Pick one

Tap a card to select. A second panel slides up at the bottom of the screen with two settings:

• Target exam date (optional) — the date you plan to sit the exam. I use this to pace your roadmap. If you don't have a date yet, leave it blank — I'll generate a flexible plan and you can lock the date later.
• Daily study time — 15, 30, or 60 minutes. This sets the size of your daily task. You can change it later in Study Preferences.

Tap Continue to move on.

What I do with this

Your selection saves a user_certifications row that drives everything downstream:

1. The diagnostic runs against this certification's domain map.
2. The roadmap generator pulls the official exam blueprint for this cert.
3. Your daily tasks, demo test, and gauntlet all align to this cert's exam structure.

Changing certifications later

You're not locked in. You have two options after onboarding:

• Add another certification. From the active-cert switcher at the top of the home screen, tap + add a certification. I'll run a fresh diagnostic and generate a separate roadmap. Both stay alive — switch between them anytime.
• Switch which cert is active. Tap the switcher and select a different active cert. Your other roadmaps pause but don't reset.

I never throw away progress. If you finish AWS Solutions Architect Associate and start AWS Solutions Architect Professional, the second roadmap is informed by what you mastered in the first.

The cert catalog is curated. If a certification you want isn't there, email support@claudelab.me and I'll consider it for the next batch.
