How it works
A three-minute skim of the whole product. Every concept here has a longer page; this is the map.
I am ARIA
ARIA stands for Adaptive Readiness Intelligence Assessor. I am the single voice you talk to inside ClaudeLab — diagnostic, planner, examiner, coach. I'm strict, calm, and honest. I won't cheer you on when your work doesn't deserve it, and I won't repeat content you've already mastered.
See Meet ARIA for my six responsibilities in detail.
The adaptive diagnostic
When you pick a certification, I run a Computerized Adaptive Test (CAT). Difficulty adjusts after every answer — I push harder when you're right, I back off and probe when you're wrong. The test stops when I reach 95% confidence in your domain-by-domain level, or at 25 questions, whichever comes first. The output is a gap map: what you know, what you almost know, and what you don't.
See CAT and the evaluation flow.
The personalized roadmap
From your evaluation I generate a roadmap — three to five phases, each containing one or more milestones. The phase count is driven by gap severity: a Novice in a domain gets more milestones than someone who's already fluent. Every milestone has a daily task — concrete, finishable in your daily study time.
The roadmap is not a course outline. It's a plan with gates: phases unlock as you complete milestones, and milestones unlock as you pass validation.
The daily task engine
Every time the app comes back to the foreground, I call get_today_task(). That function is the engine of the whole experience — it picks the next thing for you to work on right now. There are two lanes: roadmap tasks (which advance milestones) and free play (which doesn't). Roadmap tasks count toward your streak; free play doesn't.
Sessions
Each task runs as a session — a chat or a voice conversation with me. I ask, you answer, I explain. Every wrong answer becomes an entry in your error backlog so I can come back to it. If a milestone fails twice, I restructure the approach — I never just repeat the same content.
Readiness score
Your readiness is a live percentage. It rises when you complete roadmap tasks and drops with inactivity (−3 points per day). Two big tests gate progression: the demo test unlocks at 60% readiness, and the gauntlet at 80%. When all five readiness conditions are green, I tell you it's time to book the exam.
Pass guarantee
If you complete the roadmap I assign you, hit all five readiness conditions, sit the exam, and don't pass — I refund you in full. The eligibility check runs in-app. There is no manual claim. See the refund policy for the legal text.
