Pass-guarantee refund
If you complete the full ARIA roadmap, meet every readiness condition, sit the exam, and do not pass — ClaudeLab refunds the credits you spent on that certification in full.
This is not a marketing line. It is a function in the database, run automatically on every milestone completion, with five strict conditions. Eligibility is computed; it is not negotiated.
Why eligibility is automatic
ClaudeLab does not ask you to file a claim, submit screenshots, or argue with support to qualify. Every time you complete a milestone, the server runs check_guarantee_eligibility() against your roadmap. The function flips your roadmap's guarantee_eligible flag to true the moment all five conditions are simultaneously met, and back to false if any condition lapses.
This means by the time you sit the exam, you already know whether you qualify. The flag is visible in the app on the readiness page.
The five conditions
All five must be true at the same time.
- Every roadmap milestone is completed. No skipped milestones, no abandoned ones. Every milestone in every phase of your roadmap must be in the
completedstate. - Every roadmap phase is completed. Each phase ends with a phase exam — those exams must be passed, which marks the phase
completed. - At least two mock exams passed at or above the certification's passing score. Mock exam scores are calculated against the official passing score for the certification you are preparing for (e.g. 70% for most AWS exams, 75% for some PMI exams). Two passes at or above that line is the floor.
- At least one gauntlet completed at 80% accuracy or higher. The gauntlet is the timed pressure-test mode that unlocks at 80% readiness — finishing it once with strong accuracy proves the work transfers under timed pressure.
- Readiness score at 80 or higher. Your overall readiness, as displayed on the readiness gauge, must be 80 or above. Readiness decays with inactivity, so this condition can flip back if you stop working.
If guarantee_eligible is true on the day you sit the exam, you are inside the eligibility window.
The 60-day exam window
You must sit the exam within 60 days of meeting all five conditions. The window starts the day guarantee_eligible first flips to true, and runs for 60 calendar days from that point.
If your readiness drops below 80 during the 60 days — for example because you took two weeks off and the readiness decay caught up with you — the flag goes back to false and the window pauses. Get readiness back above 80 and the window resumes from where it left off, not from zero.
What "the exam" means
The pass-guarantee refund covers the official certification exam that the roadmap was built for. Specifically:
- The exam must be the one named on your roadmap (same provider, same code).
- The exam must be sat at the official testing centre or via the official online proctoring channel for that certification.
- The exam result must be the official score report from the certification body — screenshots of the pass/fail screen are accepted only when the official report is not yet available.
How to claim
When you do not pass:
- Email support@claudelab.me from the email on your account.
- Attach your official score report (PDF or screenshot) showing the date, the certification, and the result.
- Include your Paddle transaction IDs for the credits you want refunded.
ClaudeLab responds within 2 business days. Once eligibility is confirmed, the refund is issued by Paddle for the full credit value spent on that certification, calculated at the per-credit price you originally paid.
What this is not
The pass guarantee is a refund route, not insurance against decisions you make outside the roadmap.
- It does not cover the exam fee paid to the certification body. The certification body is a separate party and ClaudeLab has no relationship with them.
- It does not cover credits spent on a different certification — only the cert you took the exam for.
- It does not apply if you skip phase exams, fail to complete milestones, or sit the exam with
guarantee_eligibleset to false.
