Refund policy
ClaudeLab is a credit-based product. This page explains when and how you can get a refund. The intent is fairness on both sides — credits you have not used should never be money you cannot recover.
The canonical refund policy is published at claudelab.me/legal/refund. If anything on this docs page ever drifts from that policy, the policy on claudelab.me wins. The text below mirrors that policy section by section.
14-day cooling-off period
If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory cooling-off period, you may cancel any credit pack purchase within 14 days of the transaction and request a full refund. The right applies whether or not you have started using the credits, except that ClaudeLab will deduct the value of any credits already consumed. You can exercise this right by emailing support@claudelab.me with your transaction ID — no form required.
Unused credits — refundable any time
Outside the statutory window, ClaudeLab will still refund any credits you have purchased and not consumed, on request, for up to 12 months from the transaction date. The refund is calculated by multiplying remaining credits by the per-credit price you originally paid (not the current rate). Email support@claudelab.me from the email on your account.
Used credits — non-refundable
Credits that have already been spent on AI sessions, evaluation questions, voice turns, or any other in-app action are not refundable. Each credit-spending action is logged in your account and visible from Profile → Billing → Usage.
Pass-guarantee refund (Exam Ready outcome)
If you complete the full ARIA roadmap, hit all five readiness conditions, sit the exam within the eligibility window, and do not pass, you are entitled to a full refund of the credits you spent on that certification. Eligibility is verified automatically inside the app — no manual claim is needed. See Pass-guarantee refund for the conditions and the process. The conditions and window are presented at the point of purchase and do not affect your statutory rights.
How to request a refund
Email support@claudelab.me with:
- The email on your account.
- The Paddle transaction ID, visible on your purchase receipt.
- The reason for the request.
ClaudeLab responds within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically reach your card or PayPal account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support first — almost any issue resolves faster than a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback before contacting support may result in your account being suspended pending the bank dispute outcome.
No subscriptions
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Nothing auto-renews. You will never be charged again unless you initiate a new purchase yourself.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have under your local consumer protection law. Where this policy and your local law conflict, your local law prevails.
