Data and privacy
The Data & Privacy screen lives under Profile → Data & Privacy. Three things happen here: consent toggles, data export, and account deletion.
Consents
Each consent is independent and toggles save instantly:
- Marketing emails — product updates, feature launches, study tips
- Usage analytics — anonymized telemetry so
ARIA gets smarter
- Research studies — opt into anonymized learning-science research
You can opt out of any of these at any time without affecting access to the product.
Request data export
Tap Request data export and I queue an archive of everything ClaudeLab knows about you — profile, sessions, evaluations, progress. Exports are emailed within a few days to the email on your account.
The confirmation message reads:
I'll email you a download link when your data archive is ready.
You can request a fresh export any time. Each request runs independently.
Public profile toggle
The Share my readiness publicly switch is per-certification — not global. When on, a shareable URL appears underneath the toggle, and anyone with the link can view your readiness card. See Public profile for what is exposed.
If the toggle is disabled, you do not have an active certification yet — pick one and the toggle becomes available.
Delete my account
Account deletion is irreversible past a 7-day grace period. The flow:
- Tap Delete account.
- A confirmation modal asks you to type the word
deleteexactly. - I schedule a deletion job for 7 days from now and sign you out.
- Sign back in inside the 7-day window to cancel. After it elapses, your account and data are permanently erased.
After 7 days, deletion cannot be undone. There is no archive, no way to "restore" the account, and ClaudeLab staff cannot bring back data the deletion job removed.
The legal section also links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
