Public readiness profile
Your public readiness profile is a no-auth page anyone can open with the URL. It exists to give recruiters, hiring managers, and study peers a credible snapshot of where you stand.
URL shape
/p/<your-user-id>/<certification-id>
The link is generated when you turn the Share my readiness publicly toggle on at Profile → Data & Privacy. It appears directly under the toggle and is selectable for copy.
Per-certification, not global
Sharing is opt-in per certification. If you are studying for two certs, you can keep one private and one public. Toggling off removes the page from public view immediately — visitors see a "Profile not available" state.
What is shown
A visitor sees, for the chosen cert:
- Your display name (the Name field on Settings)
- Certification name and provider
- Overall readiness score, color-coded
- Pass probability and predicted ready-by date when I have enough signal
- Sessions completed, total study time, milestones completed
- Per-domain mastery bars
That is the full payload. Email, password, billing, sessions transcripts, and any other certifications you study are not included.
What is not shown
- Your email
- Your other certifications
- Per-question history
- Cohort affiliation
- Anything from a cert you have not opted in for
Sharing options on the public page
The public page itself offers three actions to a visitor — including you, when you preview it:
- Share on LinkedIn — opens the LinkedIn share dialog with the URL pre-filled
- Copy link — copies the page URL to clipboard
- Download PDF — generates a one-page PDF snapshot
The PDF is generated on demand by the export-profile-pdf edge function, so the figures match the live page at the moment you download.
Turning it off
Flip the toggle on Profile → Data & Privacy off. The page returns the "private or hasn't been shared" state on the next request.
